The Municipality of Mangatarem through the Municipal Youth Development Office and in cooperation with Atty. John Angel N. Bautista, a Civil Service Reviewer and an attorney on Commission on Human Rights, Region 3 will be conducting “The Second Free Civil Service Review” in the Municipality of Mangatarem.

COMMAND CONFERENCE of the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office led by PCOL JEFF E. FANGED Provincial Director which was participated by All Chiefs of Police provincewide was held at Ylang Ylang Resort in Brgy. Bueno of this town on July 25, 2023. EMPO is an anti-crime strategy of the police to gauge its capabilities and interventions to different crimes being committed in a certain town. Mangatarem has made commitments and strategies on security, emergency response especially on the fight against illegal drugs for a safer community. With this, Mangatarem has been recognized by the Police Regional Office I as Top Performing Municipal Police Station region wide this June 2023.

Around 1000 VOLUNTEERS gathered to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Philippine Red Cross.

Matagumpay na naipamahagi sa ating masisipag na magsasaka ang 2,664 Bags NSIC Rc160, NSIC Rc480, NSIC Rc506 at NSIC Rc216.Para sa 1,332 Hektarya.

Layunin ng Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) na tulungang maging Mas Competitive at Mas Produktibo ang mga magsasaka sa pamamagitan ng pagpapababa ng kanilang Production Cost at Pagpapataas ng kanilang Kita.

Kasama ang ating pinakamamahal na Kongresista ng Distrito Dos Probinsya ng Pangasinan,Cong.Mark Cojuanco, ating Butihing Mayor, Ramil P. Ventenilla at Committee Chairman on Agriculture Hon. Harley Paragas,at Municipal Agriculturist, Mr. Benito Jazmin at mga kasamahan sa Municipal Agriculture Office.

Expressing my heartfelt gratitude to the PNP National Headquarter Thru Pangasinan Provincial Office, for the turnover of 24 pcs of IMI GALIL 5.56mm fire arms to PNP-Mangatarem, Also to our very diligent Chief of Police in Mangatarem, PMaj. Arthuro Melchor Jr. As of today we have 49 pcs. IMI GALIL 5.56mm.

Ang ating butihin Congressman Mark Cojuangco ay bumisita sa ating bayan upang magbigay ng mga mungkahi at mga suhestiyon sa ating Mayor Balong Ventenilla upang magkapagpatayo ng isang multi-purpose building at world-class na mga comfort room sa ating bayan.

Kalakhan sa mga naging proyekto ng ating Congressman sa kanyang termino noon sa Kanyang Distrito Singko ay mga pampublikong imprastraktura na sadyang makakatulong sa mga mamamayan. Nais po dalhin ng ating Congressman ang kaparehong inobasyon at serbisyo ngayon dito sa ating Distrito Dos.

Kaya naman sya nagpapasalamat sa ating Mayor Ramil Ventenilla sa pagiging bukas ng kaniyang isipan para tumanggap ng suhestyon mula sa ating Congressman. Tinatanaw po ng ating Congressman Mark Cojuangco na tagumpay ng mga itatayo nitong imprastraktura at maari rin po nating maging katuwang si Congressman Cojuangco sa
iba pang proyekto sa hinaharap!

22nd “Gawad KALASAG” Seal Kalamidad at Sakuna Labanan, Sariling Galing ang Kaligtasan aims and promoting adaptive communities thus leading to responsive and resilient communities.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, thru the National Gawad KALASAG Committee, announced the list of awardees for the 22nd Gawad KALASAG Seal for Excellence in DRRM and Humanitarian Assitance for the Local DRRM Councils and Offices category.

This year, there are 135 Beyond Compliant & 436 Fully Compliant Local Government Units Awardees in the Country.Last year, Our Municipality Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Councils was recognized/received from Region 1 Office of Civil Defense as “FULLY COMPLIANT AWARD” or the LGU has SUCCESSFULLY met and GENERALLY ADHERES to the STANDARDS for the establishment and functionality of Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Councils and Offices pursuant to Sections 11 and 12 of RA 10121 or the PDRRM Act of 2010 which is equivalent to the GAWAD KALASAG AWARD CY 2021.

This year, Mangatarem received another milestone Award as one of the 5 Municipalities in Our Province “BEYOND COMPLIANT” awardee or our Local Government Unit -EXCEEDED THE STANDARDS for the establishment and functionality of Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council/Offices (LDRRMC/O).

Gagawin po namin lahat to improve, develop and enhance the quality of our services to serve our beloved community before, during and after disaster.

Pananatilihin produktibo at mas pagagandahin ang serbisyo para sa ating mga kababayan sa ating bayan.

Also, Congratulation to other municipalities/cities who joined 22nd Gawad KALASAG Seal for Excellence in DRRM and Humanitarian Assitance for the Local DRRM Councils and Offices category. Especially to our Province of Pangasinan also recognized/ received the “BEYOND COMPLIANT” award headed by our Gov. Ramon Guico III.

Personal na binisita ng ating Congressman Mark Cojuango ang Pacalat Dam,
foot bridge, at gate canal para kanyang siyasatin kung paano mapapaunlad ang
irrigation lining nito.

Plano niyang gawin konkreto ang lining upang hindi masipsip ng lupa ang
tubig galing sa irigasyon, na lubos na makakatulong sa ating mga magsasaka.

Kung magtatagumpay ang pag-aayos nito, pitong barangay sa ating bayan ang
magbebenepisyo sa proyektong ito at posible pang madagdagan ito.

Gagawa din ng proyektong foot bridge sa Pacalat na magsisilbing tulay para sa
apat na barangay na taong 1980’s pa nilang pangarap at ngayon pa lamang magkakaroon
ng katuparan. Isasama po natin ito sa ating 2023 priority project.

The Local Government Unit of Mangatarem joins in the celebration of the 2022 National Cooperative Month with the theme of Koopinas:Nagkakaisang Lakas para sa Makabuluhan at Sama-samang Pag-unlad!

This aims to gather cooperatives and other stakeholders in the co-op movement to promote cooperativism in the municipality and help uplift the community. This is mandated under Republic Act 11502 declaring the month of October as National Cooperative Month.

Pagpapasigla ng turismo sa lalawigan ang tinalakay sa “Tongtongan: The Governor’s See Pangasinan” program kaugnay ng Tourism Month celebration.

Sa pangunguna ni Governor Ramon Mon-Mon Guico III
napag-usapan ang kalagayan ng Manleluag Spring Protected Landscape na matatagpuan sa Mangatarem. Isa itong National Protected Area na layong i-rehabilitate ang pasilidad at dagdagan ng mga forest ranger para manumbalik ang sigla ng turismo na apektado ng pandemya.

Sikat ang hot spring na bahagi ng Mt. Malabobo dahil sa natural nitong ganda na kanlungan din ng mga endangered species ng ibon at iba pang hayop. Inaasahang makakatulong ito para sa dagdag na kita ng lalawigan at trabaho para sa mga Pangasinense.

Dinaluhan din ang aktibidad nila PENRO Officer Raymond Rivera, CENRO Dagupan Officer Frank Vincent Danglose, 2nd District Board Member Philip Cruz, Provincial Administrator Melicio Patague II, Special Assistant to the Governor Von Mark Mendoza, Mangatarem Mayor Ramil Ventanilla, Councilor Andrea Cruz, DENR, PNP, Manleluag Protected Area Management Board Members, at ilang Barangay Captains.
